Fitting Tips: This shoe has a Lycra upper and is designed for patients with hammertoes and bunions. Lycra is a stretchable material and can make the shoe feel quite roomy. If you feel this shoe is loose, we suggest you order it one width narrower to achieve a more comfortable fit.

Dr. Comfort Carter is a versatile, go-anywhere men’s shoe that features excellent foot protection. The Carter is constructed with lightweight stretch Lycra and a two-way contact closure for extra flexibility and stability. The padded heel and tongue helps to prevent skin irritation. Built ¼ inch deeper, the Carter is designed to accommodate foot deformities such as bunions or hammertoes while still keeping its comfort and support.
Gel insoles come standard in Dr. Comfort shoes.The inserts help to provide comfort & stability, shock absorption and additional support for individuals with medical conditions like arthritis,diabetes. Diabetes can cause nerve damage and poor circulation that can be hazardous to your feet. Wearing extra width and depth shoes can help alleviate pressure on swollen feet, bunions, or hammer toes. To clean, first close the contact closure straps & wipe away any mud using mild detergent or dirt with a damp cloth and remove the inserts. Next, machine wash shoes in cold water using mild detergent.
